In love with Nature

Everyone has a special relationship with Nature.

You dont realise it, you may say "well, its stupid" but the truth is yes, everyone has a special relationship with Nature.

I've realised this long ago ... and again today, when I went to Kumarakom(30 minutes from Kottayam).

We(3 pals and I) went to a beach resort and watched the sunset there. It was awesome; me was lying in a rope-cot tied on two coconut trees overlooking a wonderful and huge Vembanad lake. A strong breeze and a breathtaking sunset summed up Nature's beauty. Me was lying in the cot and watching the sun go down for almost an hour, thinking and of cos, dreaming. The evening there was superb; one of the most romantic evenings I've ever been in(sadly, no girls around..;-)...). A couple were at the resort to watch the sunset too .. they were clicking pictures and holding hands and all that mushy-mushy stuff. I could make out that they were in love; they looked so happy with each other.

We may have a relationship with many people in our lives ... our friends, brothers, sisters, etc etc ... But the relationship that we share with Nature is a special one indeed.

(PS- My whole class is going to Trivandrum for three days. We will be attending a media seminar there. SO me will not be blogging for the next three days. Will write in my Trivandrum experiences after I'm back..)

Vikram...and Life ...

Some things change your life.

For Kenny 'Chiyaan' Vikram, it was 'Sethu'. He was a dubbing artiste first(he has even dubbed for a character in "Kuridi Punal"..its very evident that its Vikram's voice..). Then, he did some chota chota movies. But he evolved in 'Sethu', he became an actor.

I watched 'Sethu' today on Sun TV. Third time. Its a very good movie.. the story of a ruffian college guy turning good to impress his love. The end stages(after Vikram becomes mad) could have been avoided and it still would have been a good movie .. but then, he turning mad was what made the movie a success.

Two dialogues in 'Sethu' that I liked a lot -
1. Ithu Nenja kasakinalum konjam sugama irukku ...(Vikram describing his love)
2. Ara manda thalaiyan koila mani adippane ...(describing the koil archakar)

If 'Sethu' had not happened, Ambi/Remo in 'Anniyan' would have never happened.(I had the opportunity of shaking hands with Vikram at a cinema function. He behaved very well; cool, always with a smile, always finding time for fans, journos, co-actors etc...)

All this says something about Life too ... its a shitty struggle out there yes, but one good move and you'll be up there with the stars.

The Start

Every thing has to start sometime.

I've visited lots of blogs, put in comments but never have blogged myself. Two hours of boredom(one hour in that spent playing online cricket) has led me to create this blog. I'll blog more, and DO find time to visit my blog.
